RGB approves new rent increases for rent stabilized units

The NYC Rent Guidelines Board (RGB) establishes rent adjustments for the approximately one million dwelling units subject to the Rent Stabilization Law in New York City. On June 17, 2024 RGB voted in favor of the following rent increases: 

• For a one-year lease commencing on or after October 1, 2024 and on or before September 30, 2025: - 2.75%
• For a two-year lease commencing on or after October 1, 2024 and on or before September 30, 2025: - 5.25%
